Imperial Asphalt Solutions is run by a husband and wife who have spent 5 years on asphalt across eastern Massachusetts. The same two people quote your job, run the crew and answer the phone afterwards.
The work came first. The company came after.
Five years of paving driveways and lots across eastern Massachusetts happened before there was a name on a truck. That is the ordinary way this trade works: you learn it on somebody else's crew, on somebody else's schedule, and you watch which corners get cut and what happens to the driveway three winters later.
Imperial exists because we wanted to run jobs the way we thought they should be run. That means the base gets the time it needs even when nobody would ever see it. It means the scope is written down, with thickness and depth on the page, so you can hold our quote next to anyone else's and compare the same numbers instead of two totals. And it means telling you when the cheaper option is the right one, which is not the advice that grows a job.
More than 200 properties later, almost all of it has come from someone telling a neighbour. That is a slow way to build a business and a very honest one, because the only thing that produces a referral is a driveway that still looks right a year on.
Who you actually deal with
Maria Eduarda handles the estimates and everything after them, so the person who measured your driveway is the person who picks up when you call. Her husband runs the crew on site. We bring on extra help when a job needs it, but the two of us are on every property, which is the whole reason nothing gets lost between the quote and the work.
We would rather spend twenty minutes explaining why your driveway is cracking than five minutes closing you.

Three rules we do not bend
Not slogans. These are the three things that decide whether a job goes well, and all three cost us money at some point.

We measure before we talk numbers
Asphalt is priced by the square foot, and the base underneath changes everything. Anyone who gives you a figure over the phone is guessing, and the guess is not going to be in your favour.

You get dates, not "a few days"
Before we leave your property you know when you can walk on the surface and when you can park on it. Vague answers are how people ruin new asphalt.

We say no to work we should not do
Sealing a driveway that is already breaking apart is an easy sale and a waste of your money. We would rather quote you the repair and keep the customer.
Word of mouth
200+ properties, and almost every one of them came from someone telling a neighbour.
Referrals have been the whole business so far. We are collecting those into a public profile now, so what has been said on doorsteps ends up somewhere you can read it.
