Line Striping & Pavement Markings in Greater Boston

About this service

Striping is what turns asphalt into a parking lot. A clean layout fits more cars in the same square footage, moves traffic in one direction instead of three, and keeps your accessible spaces readable and correctly sized.

We restripe existing lots and lay out new ones across Greater Boston, including arrows, fire lanes, crosswalks, numbered stalls and accessible stalls with the access aisle where it belongs.

Timing

How long it takes, and when you get your surface back

This is the question we get more than any other, so here it is up front instead of buried in a phone call.

  • On site A few hours Most lots are striped in a single visit outside business hours.
  • Dry to touch 30 to 60 minutes Traffic paint sets fast in warm, dry weather.
  • Open to traffic Same day Sections reopen as they dry, usually within a couple of hours.

What you are seeing

Signs this is the service you need

Asphalt fails in a predictable order. Any one of these is enough to call.

  • Drivers ignoring the lines

When the layout is faded people park where they like and you quietly lose spaces every day.

  • Accessible stall unreadable

A faded accessible space with no readable access aisle is the one marking you cannot afford to leave.

  • No directional arrows

Two-way traffic in a one-way aisle is how lots get scraped cars and complaints.

  • Fresh asphalt with no layout

A newly paved lot is unusable until the layout goes back down.

What's included

Everything in the scope

  • Existing layout measured and photographed before we start
  • Stall lines, double lines and end caps
  • Directional arrows and stop bars
  • Fire lane markings and curb painting
  • Accessible stalls, access aisles and symbol markings
  • Numbered or reserved stalls where you need them

Why us for this

Three things worth knowing

  • Layout that fits more cars

Restriping is the cheapest way to gain spaces. Getting the angle and the module right can add stalls to the same asphalt.

  • Same crew as the paving

Pave and stripe come from one company, so the lot is usable the same week instead of waiting on a second company.

  • Fast and out of hours

Most lots are striped in a few hours, scheduled in the evening or on a weekend so you never lose a trading day.

How it works

From your call to the finished surface

  1. 01

    Measure and photograph

We record the existing layout so nothing is lost, and check stall sizes and aisle widths.

  2. 02

    Lay out the grid

Chalk lines and measurements go down first. A crooked lot is a layout problem, not a painting problem.

  3. 03

    Paint

Stalls, arrows, fire lanes and accessible markings, in the order that lets sections reopen fastest.

  4. 04

    Reopen in sections

Areas come back into use as they dry, usually within a couple of hours.

Around here

Striping and snow season

Paint in Massachusetts spends a third of the year under snow and steel. Plow blades scrape stripes off faster than traffic ever will, which is why lots here need restriping more often than the same lot would in a warm state. Striping in spring, once the plows are done, gets you a full season of readable layout instead of watching it disappear in January.

Questions

Line Striping & Markings, answered

  • How long before cars can drive over new lines?

Traffic paint is dry to the touch in 30 to 60 minutes in warm, dry weather. We stripe in sections and reopen each one as it dries, so most lots are fully back in use the same day.

  • How often should a lot be restriped?

Most lots in this climate need it every one to two years. Plow blades take paint off faster than tyres do, so snow-belt lots wear out layouts quicker than warm-state lots.

  • Can you add spaces to our lot?

Often yes. Adjusting stall angle and aisle width can fit more cars on the same asphalt. We measure the lot and show you what the layout can carry before you commit.

  • Do you handle accessible parking layout?

Yes, including the stall, the access aisle and the symbol. Faded accessible markings are the ones worth fixing first on any property.

  • Can you stripe a lot you did not pave?

Yes. Plenty of our striping work is on lots paved by someone else. We measure and photograph the existing layout first so nothing is lost.

  • Do you stripe lots around Boston after hours?

Yes. Most commercial striping we do across Greater Boston happens in the evening or on a weekend so the property never loses a trading day.
